Picking Up the Pen Again

It’s been a long time since I recorded anything. The last post was in 2023. Now, it’s already July 2024.

Life’s busy and messy—no mood to record anything. Life’s also ordinary, the daily trivialities and the ups and downs of emotions don’t seem worth recording.

Recently, while packing, I found a diary from ten years ago. Back then, I actually handwrote my diary. I flipped through a few pages and past events flashed in my mind again. But I didn’t want to read further. It’s like a bottle of wine that hasn’t fully fermented yet; now isn’t the time to read it, so I’ll keep it sealed.

But this notebook made me reflect on the past six months. I realized I’ve been like a dead man for the past half year. For me, a life not recorded is a life not lived.

Honestly, there’s a deep sense of emptiness too. Who cares about these insignificant words?

Right now, I’m in a faith low.
