Preach the Word
During early morning prayers, I thought of that colleague again. There was a lunch once when he mentioned how “there’s always more work, and Saturdays are workdays too.” At the time, I just responded with an “Oh.” Looking back, I shouldn’t have been so indifferent.
God actually arranged many opportunities “to reach his soul,” but I was too careless, too dismissive. After my last “marriage relationship” talk at the company, a colleague left a message saying they were “almost ready to join the faith again.” I should follow up properly.
Lord, keep me alert and guide me to be your messenger.
Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.
