The Designer's Attitude
I’m about to leave my current startup team. I promised to help finish some design work by the 15th of this month.
Honestly, once you have the mindset of leaving, it’s hard to put your heart into the work.
Last night, walking home, I was thinking: why is that?
Shouldn’t a real designer take every project seriously, no matter the size, as long as it’s in their hands?
Looking back, many “garbage designs” that I’m ashamed of were released from my hands because I wasn’t responsible or lacked the right attitude toward design.
I don’t know where I’ll work next. Maybe at a professional design agency, a big corporation, or another startup team.
But I hope I can always maintain a designer’s attitude toward any design I participate in.
No matter how excellent your skills and methods are, without a designer’s attitude, nothing will come of it.
