Learning Two Truths
By now, at 28, I’ve finally understood one truth:
“The real world will never fully satisfy you.”
Whether it’s the “land of freedom and dreams” in the eyes of many, like the U.S., Taiwan, or China. So sometimes, I truly find hope in the “kingdom of heaven” mentioned in the Bible.
As a designer, after five years in the workforce, I’ve learned this:
“Dissent and controversy will always exist, unless those you’re dealing with are no longer thinking humans. If you can persuade others, consider yourself lucky; if not, there’s no reason to complain or be disappointed. ‘Others’ are simply people who are different from you. Besides, even in some matters, I can be indecisive myself.”
