Starting Craft Projects

I’ve always loved crafting. As a kid, I was quite the “master of destruction” who tinkered with crafts. In high school, I made handmade cards for girls I liked. During college, many of my design courses involved crafting by hand.

Heh, honestly, any drawing counts as a “craft project.” Crafting might be my calling.

I’m planning to start with some small notebooks. I’ve got all the tools and materials ready, just waiting to begin. I’m also considering opening a Taobao store for fun.

Suddenly, I’ve got a lot of ideas. Of course, I’m an idea person, but I’m also someone who struggles with consistency and focus. So, I fully understand that with my current personality and habits, achieving something significant is tough. Maybe I’ll forget what I originally wanted to do in just a few days. That’s why I’m planning to adjust and change some of my current habits to build my willpower.

In February, I aim to change:

  1. Get up early and exercise (run if it’s not raining);
  2. Be at the office by 8:40, and stick to having devotional time before work;
  3. Focus at work, avoid distractions, and resist purposeless web browsing;
  4. Do some light exercise before bed.

These are just a few points, but following through and sticking with them is hard for me.

Stay consistent.
